European Design. IKEA Foundation. Custom Finish.
A custom kitchen look — without the custom kitchen price.
After years of installing high-end Italian and German kitchens, I kept coming back to the same question:
Why should thoughtful European design, clean details, and premium functionality be available only with an expensive custom kitchen?
I wanted to find a way to bring that level of design and attention to detail to more homes — at a price that actually makes sense.
The answer was surprisingly simple.
IKEA already makes an excellent foundation.
Their cabinet system is well engineered, practical, widely available, and remarkably consistent. Instead of reinventing what already works, I use IKEA cabinetry as the foundation and focus on everything that transforms a standard kitchen into something that looks and feels custom.
The result is a different approach to kitchen remodeling:
IKEA where it makes sense. Custom where it matters.
More Than an IKEA Installation
A great kitchen isn't defined by the cabinet boxes.
It's the proportions. The reveals. The fillers. The lighting. The hardware. The way panels meet the walls. The way drawers open. The way appliances disappear into the cabinetry.
Those small details are what separate a standard installation from a kitchen that feels intentionally designed.
My background installing Italian and German kitchens taught me to pay attention to those details — and I bring the same approach to every IKEA-based project.
We can start with the proven IKEA cabinet system and customize the visible and functional elements around it to create a much more refined, architectural result
Custom Options
Integrated Handleless Profiles
Create the clean European handleless look usually associated with high-end Italian and German cabinetry.
Custom profiles can be integrated into the kitchen design for a continuous, intentional appearance rather than simply eliminating handles.
Custom Fronts
You're not limited to standard IKEA doors and drawer fronts.
Custom fronts allow you to completely change the character of the kitchen — from natural wood and modern matte finishes to unique colors, textures, and contemporary European styles.
Flush Fillers & Finished Details
Standard fillers can make even an expensive kitchen look unfinished.
We can fabricate and install flush fillers, custom spacers, panels, covers, and transitions so cabinetry integrates naturally with walls, appliances, countertops, and surrounding architecture.
Push-to-Open Systems
For an even cleaner handleless design, doors and drawers can be equipped with integrated push-to-open hardware.
Options include:
Mechanical push-to-open
or
electrically assisted opening systems
These solutions can also be integrated into large drawers and waste/recycling cabinets.
Custom Integrated Lighting
Lighting can become part of the cabinetry instead of something added afterward.
Options include under-cabinet lighting, integrated cabinet lighting, and automatic drawer lighting.
Depending on the system, lighting can be:
Dimmable • Warm-to-cool adjustable • Color adjustable • Smart-control compatible
Wiring and components can be concealed for a clean, built-in appearance.
Inner Drawer Solutions
Inner drawers are one of the best ways to maintain clean exterior lines while maximizing storage.
Custom inner-drawer latches and opening solutions can allow multiple drawers to function naturally without adding unnecessary exterior fronts or handles.
Custom Hardware
When the project requires something beyond standard IKEA components, we can integrate upgraded hinges, specialty hardware, covers, spacers, opening mechanisms, and other components selected specifically for the design.
Opening Restrictors & Limiters
Doors don't always have unlimited room to open.
Restrictors and opening limiters can protect walls, adjacent cabinetry, appliances, countertops, and neighboring doors while maintaining proper function.
Butcher Block Countertops & Farmhouse Sinks
Custom butcher block countertop installation and farmhouse/apron-front sink integration are available for projects where standard IKEA solutions don't provide the look or detailing you want.
The Idea Is Simple
You don't necessarily need a $30,000–$100,000 European kitchen to get the details that make those kitchens special.
Start with a reliable, intelligently engineered cabinet system.
Then invest in the things you actually see, touch, and use every day:
the fronts, hardware, lighting, opening systems, countertops, fillers, panels, and installation.
That's where thoughtful customization makes the biggest difference.
IKEA where it makes sense.
Custom where it matters.
European attention to detail throughout.
The goal isn't to make an IKEA kitchen look like something it's not.
The goal is to take a very good cabinet system and build something exceptional around it.
